Homework for April 28

Hi guys,

Great job to the ones that did the Mock test, I really appreciated the fact that you tried your best, hopefully you'll get some really good results! :)

As I told everyone today, Monday is a holiday, so we'll see each other next Thursday. The ones who missed the test will do it during lesson time in a different classroom. I'll do my best to organise the Speaking part with a different teacher.

As homework let's learn/revise some phrasal verbs here and improve your listening by learning about some boy bands here, then a reading related to the environment here :) Do the tasks related to the video/listening/text.

PS: We'll have a mother Mock in May, so don't take quick decisions about the exam, yet ;)

Homework for April 18 and Mock Tests

Hi guys,

Here are the examiner's comments on the video we watched today, Speaking Part 3.

Remember next week is the Mock Tests week (test di prova), both on Monday (Listening and Reading and Use of English) and on Thursday (Writing), so please don't miss any of the two lessons. If you'll miss, you'll do the part you missed in the next lesson, but in a different room.

For next time I'd like you to check some of Sean's "One Week Jobs" here, watch a few and report to class about one you liked most and why. (you can see more videos - most are called "One Week Job # number"- on the right hand-side on Vimeo).

Don't forget about the Yoga class in English on Wednesday! You're most welcome to come and bring a friend!
